Photo Information: This panorama features Kyle Field, home to the Texas A&M Aggies football team since 1905 and one of the five largest stadiums in collegiate football. The Spirit of Aggieland is alive and well at the home of the 12th Man. This Texas A&M moniker is familiar to sports fans throughout the country and came to life in 1922 when the Aggie football team suffered so many injuries in the first half of the game, the coach was compelled to call a student out of the stands to suit up and stand on the sidelines, ready to play. Today, Aggies continue to stand ready and willing to support their team, as evidenced by students standing throughout the entire game.
